Certified Pick up for the shipping agent

The shipping agent creates a commercial release in Certified Pick up. The party's stakeholder receives the release right. Through the platform, the shipping agent can also revoke, block or update that right.

As a shipping agent, what can you do with Certified Pick up?

Thanks to Certified Pick up, passing around PIN codes is a thing of the past. The shipping agent sends container release information to the platform. The platform safely passes the release right to the designated party responsible for handling import formalities to collect the container at the terminal

As a shipping agent, you can use Certified Pick up to:

Create a commercial release
Determine who gets the first release right.
Revoke a release right and start the process all over again.
Block or unblock a release right.
Update container release parameters.
Delete a commercial release.

The Certified Pick up platform notifies the shipping agent of:

Any change in container status.
Information on the transfer of release rights.
The successful granting of the pick up right.

Certified Pick up enhances the transparancy, safety and efficiency of the release process of a container.

Registration

1. Register your company and users

Is your company already registered? Then apply for Certified Pick up access following the steps in this manual. If you don't know if your company is already registered, just go through the registration process. The website recognises existing data and tells you what the next steps are.

2. Sign up at NxtPort

After your registration, log into the NxtPort Console. At the bottom, use the red 'C-Point (2FA)' button and log in with your details from step 1. Complete your account with the correct company details

3. Log in to Certified Pick up

To use the application, log in to the Certified Pick up User Interface. To do this, use your data from step 1.

Implementation

As a shipping agent, you can implement Certified Pick up in your organisation in two ways:

With the user interface, as in step 3 above.
By integrating the API directly into your ERP or transport management systems. You can read how to do that here.
